T.J. McDonald jumped right in and gave IDP owners about all we could have asked for in his Dolphins debut last week. He should have been picked up already this week in any leagues that found him available. (If that didn't happen in yours, change it.) We'll run through some other altering DB scenarios, including some surprisingly tough players against the run. We've also got our now-regular check into the volatile playing time among Chargers LBs, plus notes on Bucs DT Gerald McCoy, Packers rookie S Josh Jones and plenty of others.

We're not focusing as much as usual on cheap QBs for DraftKings this week, because we see plenty of value options to consider at the rest of the positions. There's a name that might surprise you at RB. There's a surprisingly low -- at least to 1 of us -- popularity level for a big name at WR. There are intriguing TEs at the bottom and top of the board, even some not named Travis Kelce. And there are still some lower-dollar passers if that fits what you're trying to build.

Are you upset because you're facing Antonio Brown in your season-long league? Well, good news here: That big Steelers passing-game bounce back is out of the way for the Week 11 main slate on FanDuel. Also out of range, though, is the Monday night Falcons-Seahawks clash. But that still leaves plenty of intrigue, such as whether to play anyone from the matchup of surprising heavies: the Rams and the Vikings. There's the question of whether you should bother looking beyond Travis Kelce at TE and whether you can just play everyone against the Giants. And we've got RBs from all over the price spectrum to fit varying contest lineups.

Who would you start over Ben Roethlisberger this week? Matt and Jared started arguing about just that on Tuesday morning as we set our Week 11 staff rankings, and it spawned our 1st beer bet in a long time. Beyond that, though, we've got a high-powered Vikings-Rams matchup with challenges for all the upside plays you might be favoring. We have a Chiefs-Giants matchup that suggests you start pretty much everyone (except the defenses). There's a potentially marquee Eagles-Cowboys matchup that just might turn 1-sided if a certain offensive lineman sits out again. And there are lots of other matchup notes in between as we run through the particulars of every game beyond Thursday night to help you set your optimal lineups.

What did Week 10 teach us? Is it that we have to finally get used to a new version of Drew Brees and the Saints? Is Ben Roethlisberger just a low-end QB2 at this point? Or will either guy help fantasy football owners more the rest of the way? We got a huge day from Case Keenum and his under-appreciated WRs, plus another big outing from Jared Goff and ... apparently ... the best offense in the NFL. Is it now time to sell? We're asking that about several players as we head toward the season's 5th Buy-Sell-Hold Report -- as well as the fantasy football playoffs.

Jatavis Brown started the season looking like a long-term IDP stud. The Chargers hope to turn him into a reserve sunday against the Jaguars? What gives, and who can we use beyond the DEs on that L.A. defense? Tyvon Branch's ACL tear leaves room for a pair of safeties to step up. Jonathan Casillas could benefit from being the only healthy Giants LB ... if he's healthy enough. And the returns of several safeties shake up some backfield pictures.

The Colts matchup makes it tough to see past Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown on DraftKings this week, but their over-$9000 price tags require that we do so. Jared's loving the Giants-49ers matchup for value, with options for both cash and tournament lineups. Matt's a little less sure about Eli Manning but has a similarly priced QB who could work in either format. And Kevin's got yet another cheap passer to offer key savings. We've got RBs with high TD ceilings in several games that you can spend those savings on, along with cheap TEs and some pivot options at WR to help you build some upside lineups.

There are some expensive QBs on the list for Week 10, but that doesn't necessarily mean you need to pay up for big numbers at the position. We've got mid-priced and even bargain-bin plays for multiple contest types on FanDuel. At RB, there's Le'Veon Bell and then everyone else, thanks to that Colts matchup. But who should you try to fit in around him? Similar deal at WR, where Antonio Brown makes for an obvious target. We've got moderately priced options from Marvin Jones ($6400) down into the $5K range to help you find that spending flexibility. You might not find enough money left over for the centerpiece at TE, but there are options all over the board.

Can Ben Roethlisberger capitalize on a tremendous matchup this week, or is he the subdued fantasy option he's become this season? And even if he does go off, how many guys can he take with him? We're looking at that and every other game on the slate (beyond the Thursday-nighter). We're seeking out stream-worthy QBs and pondering which RBs have it bad enough right now that they can't crack starter territory in the ugly current backfield climate. Plus, we have some big names expected to return from long-term injuries in Week 11. Who should we grab now?
